At Evolution Dance and Performing Arts Academy, we believe that involvement in competitive dance helps young dancers develop positive self-esteem, confidence, accountability, and leadership. We pride ourselves on maintaining a high standard of age-appropriate choreography and costumes, while fostering a healthy competitive mindset. Students should strive to win and perform their personal best, but understand that placement does not define them as a dancer or person. Each dancer is encouraged to reach their fullest potential, while also understanding the importance of being part of a team and the responsibilities that come with it. Dancers have the opportunity to perform at regional and national competitions, recitals, and a variety of community events. Ultimately, we aren't just training young dancers for competitive dance... we are training the dancers and leaders of tomorrow.
