Dance Classes & Programs

Ballet is the basis of all dance forms. It conditions the body in its entirety. It elongates and strengthens the muscles needed to develop grace, poise, balance, flexibility, and strength.



Students learn to utilize the percussion sound of the tap shoe while focusing on rhythm and form. Rhythm tap dancing is focused on the sound of the taps more then the aesthetic appearance of the dance. This class is offered at various levels of skill and age.

Hip Hop classes combine street dance with funk and jazz, similar to what you would see in televised dance performances or music videos. Students will learn the importance of isolations and dynamics to execute pop-and-lock and funk movements.

Creative Movement/


Creative Movement is a joyful way for children to explore movement through music, develop physical skills, channel energy, stimulate imagination and promote creativity. Creative movement uses body actions to: communicate an image (the wind), communicate an idea (a journey) or communicate a feeling (strength).

Musical Theater

Musical Theater combines acting, and various theater-based styles of dancing into an hour based class. It is designed to promote confidence, discipline, improvisation ability, and teaches young performers about life on the Broadway stage!



Pointe is for only serious dancers who take multiple hours of ballet each week. Not all students who take ballet will dance en pointe. Teachers evaluation needed.



Students will focus on learning proper dance technique to improve performance quality and develop complex rhythms and patterns. Students will be exposed to various styles of jazz such as Broadway, Street and Contemporary to help develop a well rounded dancer.  Classes are available at various levels of skill and age.


Lyrical is a style of dance that uses the emotion and mood of the music to elicit movements from the dancers Students will fuse ballet, jazz, and modern with expressive movements to tell a story. Classes are available at various levels of skill and age.

Contemporary style of dance combines Ballet and Modern. It also employs contract-release, floor work, fall and recovery, as well as improvisation characteristics. Unpredictable changes in rhythm, speed, and direction are taught in this class.

ACRO Dance

Acro Dance combines classical dance technique with precision acrobatic elements


Improv/choreography class gives students the opportunity to create their own work as well as express themselves through their own, authentic movement. Half of the class is based on improvisation and exploring movement qualities based on different cues and scores given by the instructor. Students will gain the confidence and skill to freestyle to any type of music, anytime! The second half of class focuses on choreography and learning how to develop a full dance piece. This class is designed for students to access their emotions and own individual movement styles
