Dayna has been dancing since she was 3 years old. She has always had a passion for dance. Dayna was on a competition team since she was 5 years old. Working with kids is something she always loved to do. Since Dayna was 10 years old she assisted pre school dance classes. In 2014 Dayna performed the nutcracker at Carnegie hall. Even though she loved all styles of dance tap was always her favorite. Dayna’s mentor was Jennifer Asprocolas who taught her for many years. She had a big impact on Dayna’s passion for tap dancing. On May 23, 2019 Dayna performed at the Apollo theatre in NYC “ Showtime at the Apollo”. When Dayna was 13 years old she got accepted to NJ Tap Ensemble and furthered her training in tap dance with Deborah Mitchell, Karen Callaway Williams, Jeff Foote and Kyle Wilder. Dayna is attending Ocean County college and working towards getting her degree in special education. She is part of the dance club at OCC. After all the years of training Dayna did she is happy to have students of her own now. She excited to pass on her tap knowledge to other young students.
